We ask that our guests extend the same goodwill towards our wonderful Staff. Below you will find a list of guidelines that will help you  have the best possible Spa experience.

Know before you go!

Contraindications are reasons one might not be able to get a treatment. It is important to check this list to avoid arriving at the Spa and not being able to receive your treatment.

Below are a list of common reasons: 

  • Certain Medical Conditions/ Treatments ( even if in the past year)

  • Ongoing medical conditions such as Cancer Treatment, Epilepsy, Rheumatoid arthritis and Lupus require a Doctors note.

  • Sunburn.

  • Cold Sore Outbreaks.

  • Use of RetinA and other Prescription Medications (especially, but not limited to, those prescribed by a dermatologist).

  • Recent Injectables/ Surgeries.

  • Laser.

  • First Trimester of Pregnancy.

If any of the above may apply to you or someone in your party, please call 718.651.3200 and speak with a Front Desk Representative PRIOR to your treatment. 


What to expect on your Spa Day

For those receiving a Massage, Facial or Body treatment.

You will be provided with a Spa Robe, Slippers and a Locker and given a private space to change.

Our Aromatherapy scented Relaxation Area will be available for your use before and after your treatments. We also have an Outdoor Relaxation Area, weather permitting.

Tea, fruit infused water and light snacks are available in our Relaxation Area.

A selection of books and magazines are available for perusal. Calls are not permitted for the relaxation of all of our guests. 

Calming Spa music will accompany you as you are greeted by your therapist and shown to your treatment room for your therapeutic treatment.

Arrival Time

The Check-in time is the time Guests are asked to arrive at the Spa so they are ready for their treatment Start- time.

This process can take up to 15minutes: it entails filling out a form, changing into a robe & slippers, getting a locker assigned, using the bathroom etc. Additionally there may be other guests checking in and out at the same time.

Guests arriving at the Treatment Start-time, rather than the Check-in time, will still have to go through the Check-in process and may lose this time from their treatment.


Late Arrivals 

Please see Check-in* on time. (*see above). 

We understand that life, traffic and unavoidable circumstances can happen and we will make every effort to accommodate Guests when possible.

Give us notice: We ask that Guests who are running late to call 718.651.3200 and let our Staff know. Giving as much notice as possible allows us to assess the schedule and see where we could make adjustments to accommodate an appointment extension. 

Appointment Extensions: If we have available time and staff to extend the appointment, we will strive to do so, if we do not have available time and staff we may not be able to offer an extension.

Remaining Treatment Time: In these circumstances we will  give the Remaining Treatment Time**, although for some services, this may not be possible. **(see below)

Responsibility for Payment: Guests who are late for their appointment, and in consequence do not receive their treatment or receive a portion of the treatment, will still be responsible for paying for the service in-full, as booked. 

As a small business, we have to pay our staff in full for the time they were booked, we hope you understand.

**REMAINING TREATMENT TIME—when it is possible and when it is not:

MASSAGE: For some services such as Massage, it may be possible to get the remaining treatment time. 

WAXING & SHORT APPOINTMENTS: For other services such as shorter Waxing appointments the time may already have elapsed and the next client may be in the treatment room already. 

FACIALS & PEELS: For services such as Facials, we follow safe-skincare practices which do not allow us to rush through or skip steps: for example, steps such as steaming the skin take a precise amount of time and cannot be shortened, making it impossible to perform the service in a shortened time-frame.


Cancellation Policy

To hold an appointment, a credit card is required. To change, cancel or reschedule an appointment, forty eight or twenty-four hours notice is required to avoid incurring a cancellation fee ( see below).

The Cancellation Fees are as follows:

  • NO Fee:          48 hrs notice required for Request Therapist/ Weekend & Holiday Appointments or 24hrs notice for single weekday apts.

  • 50% Fee:        Same day with minimum 4hrs notice 

  • 100% Fee:     No Notice or No Show 

Please note cancellations can only be made by calling 718.651.3200 and speaking to a staff member or by leaving a message. We do not accept cancellations via email or social media.
